EQUILIBRIUM - EMMETT Technique and Massage

While Emmett Technique and other body techniques are my preferred way to treat, I also see the benefit of oil massages for some.

Massage

Relaxation Massage and Pregnancy Massage

A relaxation massage is a gentle, soothing treatment designed to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and promote overall wellbeing. Using smooth, flowing strokes and light to moderate pressure, it helps ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and encourage deep relaxation throughout the body. Unlike therapeutic or remedial massage, the primary focus is not on treating specific injuries or chronic pain, but on creating a sense of balance, comfort, and relaxation. Many people find that a relaxation massage helps improve sleep quality, reduce stress levels, and leave them feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and more connected to their body.

During the massages organic and neutral oils are used.

Pregnancy massage might be conducted sitting up, or lying on one side of the body.

Remedial and Deep Tissue Massage

Remedial massage is a therapeutic treatment that focuses on assessing and treating specific musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, pain, and areas of dysfunction within the body. Using a range of techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, stretching, and myofascial release, remedial massage aims to reduce pain, improve mobility, restore function, and support the body's natural healing processes. Each treatment is tailored to the individual's needs and may assist with muscle tension, postural imbalances, sports injuries, headaches, back and neck pain, and restricted movement. Remedial massage can be used as part of injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, or ongoing maintenance to support overall physical health and wellbeing. It is a targeted approach that addresses the underlying cause of discomfort rather than simply providing relaxation.

All massage techniques can be used as a treatment for themselves, or can be used in combination with Emmett Technique and myofascial release therapy.

All massages can be booked for 30,45 or 60 Minutes.
